Dear Resident,
I hope that you had a restful Winter break and are enjoying the
start to the spring semester. We wanted to reach out to you with
some advice to help keep the community healthy as we make our way
into the cold and flu season. There has also been concern with the
recent outbreak of the coronavirus in China and its spread to the
United States, and other areas of the world.
It is imperative that we all do our part to reduce the danger of
infection by observing best practices for preventing incidences of
the flu and other illnesses within our community. It is important
to remember that it is best to stay home from class and from work
if you think you are ill and to seek medical care, as necessary.
This advice applies to everyone, every year. The flu season is at
its peak right now, and that alone warrants such a
directive.
Remember these important things to help you stay
healthy:
-
-
-
-
Avoid Sharing Objects (Like Phones, Water Bottles,
etc)
-
-
Wash Your Hands Frequently
-
Use Tissue When Coughing or Sneezing
-
If You Feel Ill Go To Health Services and/or Stay
Home
-
As always, the health and safety of our residents and visitors is
our top priority. We will continue to keep our community informed —
and we encourage everyone to practice routine hygiene etiquette as
this is the best way to prevent the spread of
infection.
Thank you,
Cayce Cove
